Sundance Earth Lounge 2025

A programming collaboration between Hollywood Climate Summit, Sustainable Entertainment Alliance, The Redford Center, Common Ground, Maker’s Mark, Pop Culture Collaborative, NBCUniversal, The Doris Duke Foundation, Good Energy, and Project Dandelion. Hosted at The Impact Lounge.

“Earth Lounge” provided a space for filmmaking professionals to learn about climate and activate the unique power and opportunity of the creative community to advance climate consciousness. Whether a long-time climate advocate, new to climate, or processing recent climate grief in real-time, there was an entry point for everyone.

Earth Lounge featured eight hours of community space with 6 pieces of unique programming that showcased the momentum of the entertainment industry’s engagement in earth-centered initiatives on-screen and behind the scenes. We featured various perspectives in the industry including actors and comedians, philanthropic funders, industry leaders of production companies and studio alliances, as well as scientists, mental health experts, and front-line climate thought leaders.
